If you live in or around Honeypot Lane you will be aware that there is a proposal to include a development of 250 houses in that road as part of the Local Development Plan.
Now, this is all out for consultation and we expected to see it back on the agenda for a decision by now. This hasn’t happened and, although there are a few circumstances why, it is rather, shall we say, fortuitous that this won’t come back to the council for a decision before the elections in May.
What you are all supposed to do now is go to the polling booths having forgotten the whole thing is a Tory-government led instruction implemented by your local Tory council.
The Liberal Democrats are united against the Honeypot Lane proposal and will not support it.
